Pregnancy Baby and You magazine - Publication Suspended

Publication has been suspended on Pregnancy, Baby and You magazine. In some ways this is unsurprising. Magicalia has acquired a number of parenting magazines in the last year and inevitably would pick out the weaker ones. However Pregnancy, Baby and You had developed enormously under the editorships of Claire Roberts and then Emma Hartfield. Let’s hope suspended does only mean suspended and it will be back soon.

I have written a few articles in this blog recently about the ins and outs of running a community magazine. It is a subject that fascinates me. If you want to know how to get into Nursery Today, it’s quite simple. The magazine gives editorial space to advertisers.  They say, “editorial inclusions (approximately 200 words plus high res image) carry a £150.00 image fee (waived for advertisers) and are subject to space permitting.” So, if you’re not advertising, you can stil pay to appear, but there is no free editorial coverage.
