www.findatvexpert.com gives experts who want to be considered for TV&Media opportunities the chance to showcase their expertise to the industry – and gives the industry a fast and easy way of finding experts to comment on a subject or be part of a show. TV&Media companies might go to the site to find a specific expert for a specific article or programme - or they might go to the site to browse through the photos and profiles and get the inspiration for a new series or the next ‘big thing’. Pick Me Up magazine is looking for mums who belong to a ‘Mums Club’ - anything from a baby swimming class to a regular coffee morning with a few other mums, to be featured in the magazine. They say, “We would love a picture of a group of mums and their babies to print on the Toddlygook page of the magazine, as a regular new feature. If you belong to a club, please send us a picture of your group via email and tell us a little bit about yourselves– who you all are, where you meet and when (please include your telephone number on the email) and you’ll receive a £25 payment if the picture is printed!”
Woman and Home is looking for women, aged 40-50, who have recently launched a new career based on a previous experience/skill - but not one that has been gained through their career. I need images and details on the new business, what they did before and what inspired them to set up their own company.
If you want to find out more about either opportunity, email me. The Woman and Home case study is needed today.

I am co-writing a book looking at how to look after your relationship when your child has special needs. We want the book to be packed full of case studies of parents talking about their experiences, good and bad, and how parenting a child with special needs has impacted on their lives.
I am looking for parents to fill in a questionnaire about their experiences. If you don’t mind sharing what you have been through, to help other parents, please email mail@antoniachitty.co.uk

If you want to get coverage for your business, wouldn’t you love a double page spread in a womens magazine? One of the ways to do this is to sell your story.
Your story usually needs to be out of the ordinary - read the magazines to see what they cover - but sometimes simply overcoming struggles to set up your own business may be enough. Magazines will be interested in ‘Triumph over Tragedy’, so if you have come through illness, divorce or loss of a loved one, your story may appeal.
You can simply buy the magazines and look for contacts inside: some womens weeklies may even have a form for you to fill in. Alternatively, you can send your story off to an agency, where journalists with contacts will try to place it for you. Have a look at

Just a quick reminder that you have until 31 March to enter the competition to win a copy of Working Mothers - the perfect guide for anyone who needs a bit of motivation when juggling family and work. Simply email antonia@acpr.co.uk to enter.
You also have until 31 March to buy ‘A Guide to Promoting Your Business’ for £9.99 instead of the usual price of £15.
Since the last newsletter, we have also added a brand new database of contacts at crafts magazines. If you want to get in touch with women who love crafting, this database contains 29 of the UK’s most popular crafting magazines. Use the database to get in touch with craft magazine editors at the click of a mouse, and send press releases to the right people to get them in to print. Just £90 until April 30th - usually £100.
And don’t forget the brand new E-Book, The Beginners Guide to TV Interviews. Not just a guide, this great book by Joanne Mallon will help you get in TV in the first place.
Finally, I’m in need of a Scottish case study, someone who offers a service like freelance gardening, or dog walking, or laundry or ironing. This is for a feature in the Sunday Post. Please email antonia@acpr.co.uk if you can help.
